Does the GreenTraveler have thermal properties that allow the food/drink to stay hot or cold?
The Original GreenTraveler design by itself is not insulated as that adds significant cost, bulk, and weight to the product. In the question above is an option to add-on an insulated carrying sleeve. If you really want to keep food hot or cold for a couple hours longer, we now offer that. Last updated: Fri, Nov 11 2016 3:11 pm EST
What stage of development are you in now and are the products tested?
We have three prototypes of the latest design that have been tested extensively by 5 different people in various situations with no leaking problems and we have had over ten prototypes made before we came to the current design which passes our tests. We will test the saleable protect extensively using 3rd party testing centers early next year, if all goes well with our campaign. Last updated: Fri, Nov 11 2016 3:11 pm EST
Where do you ship? Will it arrive before Christmas?
We endeavor to ship direct from our manufacturer and would love to make it happen before Christmas as a stretch goal, but no promises. We must be sure to have a high quality product before shipping. All our shipping is international. Last updated: Fri, Nov 11 2016 3:11 pm EST
How hot can the GreenTraveler get safely?
The glass transition temperature (softening temperature of ABS is approximately 105 °C (221 °F). Which means that it can (theoretically) withstand boiling water. We have put hot soups and tea in it many times with no problems. It is microwave safe but it cannot be used for cooking. Last updated: Fri, Nov 11 2016 3:11 pm EST
Can I buy separate parts to replace them if lost/broken?
Yes. We sell all our parts individually. Last updated: Fri, Nov 11 2016 3:11 pm EST
What colors can I choose?
To choose your GreenTraveler color preference: http://bit.ly/GreenTravelerSurvey Every buyer will be able to choose a color. Currently we have 8 colors to choose from but we think that is too many, so please vote on your top three (3) and we will try hard to satisfy everyone. Where are your products made
We have a very close relationship with our manufacturer in China. We tried very hard to find a manufacturer in the US, where the majority of our customers are, but they either (a) couldn’t handle our size and volume, or outsourced to China anyway. So we found an on-the-ground quality control consultant we trust who has a close, long-time relationship with the injection molding manufacturer. Last updated: Fri, Nov 11 2016 3:11 pm EST
Current Estimated Shipping Date: January 2017

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
