GreenTraveler: World's Best Travel-Friendly Food Container
Created by James Robinson
The perfect container to easily carry food, drinks and other daily items is a cylindrical, liquid-tight travel container. So after a couple years of design iterations, we have a solid concept that has six compartments to keep over a liter of liquids in, or it's contents dry, and easily clips to any bag, purse, or strap. Each container is also measured in dry weight and volume so you can portion your food, or buy from a hot bar without being charged the weight of the container.

Heya,
Glad to hear so many of you received yours and that you approve overall.
If you could take 30 seconds to become the first 'verified reviewers' on our website it will really help us begin gaining traction in the 'real world.' Please, please support us one last time!
Just go to MyGreenTraveler.com and click on the 'Reviews' tab on the left-hand side. - It may have to be on a desktop if you don't see it on your mobile.
At this point we have shipped to everyone on our list
who noted they wanted to receive it now. If you
haven't received it or a track number yet, and are expecting to, please
message me this weekend!
Just send a KS message "I want to receive my
GreenTraveler!" :) with at least
the street address so I can double check we have it right and it
reaches you before Christmas.
On the note of V2. we haven't reached our goal in
time for Xmas but we are ready for tooling and it is
in the queue at the factory!
If anyone has additional feedback from V1 they want
to see incorporated into V2, please send me a message. Now is
the time!
Thanks to all! You're the best!

Hello again,
One step at a time is all I can say. It is moving but slower than molasses on a cold January morning... I do not blame anyone, the manufacturer or myself, for the speed. We are all doing our best, I really do know that. It is just the way of a startup. Figuring out logistics, iterating development, making sure everything is understood. Learning a little as we go. But I promise we are working and getting further every day.
Here are some photos of the status of V1. It is completely assembled and packed. There was a miscommunication before with the silicone. In a previous update I mentioned a change to improve it, and to make the silicone color match the GT (except black which has green silicone because I found that black was too hard to see), and that caused a substantial delay. I haven't even received the final, final, polished product. Can't wait to write that update. Here is where we are now:
I must say that Version 1 is quite good. It is liquid tight under most all conditions. Better than all other containers I have tested, some that even claim to be airtight and still leak liquid (how is that possible, most air molecules are smaller than water). I couldn't let it go without trying harder. Happy with it actually. Happier than I thought when we kept running into problems. But I keep fighting for the best. Revision 2 will still be even better under our temperature and pressure tests. But V1 is acceptable, even for a perfectionist like me. I am trying and time is a sacrifice for the best.
V2 is in development and hope to be tooling soon but with all the delays I really can't promise when it will be ready. asap... That is all I can say. My goal is to start tooling in the next few weeks. After the next (third) prototype we make.
Hope that answers most of your questions and concerns. I wish I could effectively communicate everything I am going through. The heartache, and stress of delays knowing so many of you are waiting, relying on me, trusting me. I am all in. Still loving the idea of this product more than any out there. Personally this solves my need. I am not a homebody. I am active and need food where I go. In a fire I am grabbing my wife, my guitar, and my computer bag that has a GreenTraveler already attached! ;-)
The freedom of carrying food easily is really life-changing for me. Developing a new product development business from scratch is also life-changing....
Thanks for being on the ride with me. With us. The encouragement and patience with our mistakes and overly optimistic time horizons..... You are not waiting in vain!
Kind regards,
James and GreenTraveler
Boxed up and ready to ship...almost

I have been delaying this update because we should have been ready to ship to our warehouses on Monday. Here it is Friday already and it still hasn't gone out in bulk.
We have shipped around 50 Revision 1 samples to retailers so some product is ready but shipping direct from the manufacturer is of course very expensive so you will have to wait a while longer for it to arrive at our warehouse and then it is less than 4 days from there anywhere in the world. We have established fulfillment centers in the US, Europe and Asia.
The delay was partially my fault this time because I enforced a color matching of the silicone gaskets with the GreenTravelers, which looks really great, but seems to have delayed the process. Black silicone on black parts I found was just too hard to see and in the sample I received was getting lost too easily. So I hope a colored o-ring will function better, and be even cooler. ;)
We also had to put bar codes on every product by order of the fulfillment center and that further delayed us. Crossing fingers it ships next week. How crazy for the littlest things that take so long.
Revision 2 has also come a step further but not ready yet.
Can't wait to be up and running finally. Unbelievable to me how long everything takes.
